Location of Trevarn
Directions by Road:
Take the A39 from Truro to the Falmouth Asda roundabout. Turn right, go up the hill into Mabe village, then go left at the mini-roundabout, keeping the New Inn on your left. Follow the road past Argal Reservoir, go straight over at the crossroads, and follow this road, which becomes Sampys Hill, into Mawnan Smith. In the village centre fork left at the Red Lion, into Carwinion Road. Trevarn is less than half a mile on, to the left. If you reach Carwinion Gardens on your right, you have gone too far.
Directions from the Coastal Path:
If you are coming from the Lizard, follow the path along the Helford River until you come to Port Saxon. At this point leave the path and walk up through the woods alongside Carwinion Gardens. On reaching Carwinion Road turn left and we are 100yds down on the right hand side.
If you are coming from Falmouth, leave the Coastal Path at Nansidwell Beach and walk up through the woods. When you get to the road turn left and walk 400yds, we are on the right hand side.
